How do I determine how much I need?

With a variety of slat widths available, you can need to find the width that will give you the desired look. Each width comes with a different number of slats in the kit, and could be used in a variety of applications.

Next, determine the spacing that you want between each slat. For reference, shown in our pictures is a 1" spacing between slats. Finally, measure the length of the area that you are looking to add the slats too. Add the width of the slat and the width of the spacing that you chose and divide the the length of the wall that you are choosing to slat by that number.

Can I paint or stain these slats?

Our slats are completely paintable or stainable with the latter bringing out even more of the beautiful notes of the wood. For the best results painting, we recommend applying the primer first, then use a latex or oil-based paint top coat depending on your application.

How do I install these?

First make sure that the surface the slats are being installed on is clear of any debree or dirt. Next, plan out where you want the slats to lay on the wall. Apply ahesive to the back and attach to the wall. If any cuts are needed for windows, outlets, or corners; you can use a hand saw or any electric saw to trim these.
