Determining How Much I need
  1. Measure Your Wall: Find out the width and height of your wall in feet. Multiply these numbers to get the wall's total area in square feet (e.g., a 10 ft wide by 8 ft tall wall is 10 x 8 = 80 sq ft).
  2. Panel Coverage: Each pack has 2 panels. Together, they cover about 14.44 square feet of wall space.
  3. Calculate the Number of Packs: Divide your wall's total area by 14.44 to find out how many packs you need (e.g., 80 sq ft wall ÷ 14.44 sq ft per pack ≈ 5.55 packs). Since you can't buy half a pack, always round up to the next whole number. In this case, you'd need 6 packs.
  4. Buy an Extra Pack: Add one more pack to your order for waste and unforeseen cuts.

How do I install these panels?

Our acoustic slat wall panels are designed for easy installation, giving you three methods to choose from based on your preferences or project requirements.

  1. Adhesive Application: For a quick and clean installation process, simply apply construction glue or grab adhesive to attach the panels directly onto your wall surface. This method is ideal for those who prefer a nail-free finish.
  2. Direct Wall Screwing: Secure the panels to the wall by using screws for a reliable hold. We suggest using black screws for panels with a black backing or silver/grey screws for those with grey backing. We advise using at least 9 screws per panel, spaced evenly across the width and placed every 30in down the length. When installing on ceilings, ensure screws are fastened into the ceiling joists. Also, be certain to use appropriate fixings for specific wall types, such as plasterboard.
  3. Timber Baton Mounting: For enhanced acoustic performance, mounting the panels onto 2-inch timber batons is the optimum method. Screw the batons to your wall first, then attach the panels directly onto these batons through the acoustic felt. Place Rockwool behind the panels and in between the batons to achieve Class A sound absorption.

What if I have Electrical Outlets/Windows/Doors to install around?

Customizing the panels to accommodate various objects on your surface is a simple process. Use a saw to trim the width of the slats and a sharp blade for precision cuts along the length of the felt. This allows for a seamless fit around any item or obstacle.

How long does these take to get and how will the panels arrive?

You won't have to wait long as we have the panels in stock and can get them shipped out in 24-72 hours. Each box will contain two of the 94 1/2"H x 11"W Panels

Easy Install

These were so easy to install. We actually just screwed straight through the felt in between slats either black screws—you can see them if you look for it but not a big deal. We were done in an hour! They look great and noise seems to be minimized.

My finished project looks great! Ethan's panels were easy to work with, and work as promised. I was glueing mine to metal, so the panels needed something to hold them up while the adhesive bonded, so I also have one nail in each panel to keep it all in place.
